Meghan Markle's go-to skin product costs $9.99

As a Hollywood star in her own right, not to mention a (likely) soon-to-be royal, Meghan Markle probably has access to all the fancy beauty goodies she could possibly want.

So it's refreshing to read that her go-to beauty product comes with a price tag that won't bring tears to a commoner's eyes.

In an interview with Beauty Banter, Prince Harry's girlfriend of over a year name-dropped the beauty and skincare buys she can't live without - one of them being Nivea's Firming Body Lotion.

Markle says the lotion, which costs just $9.99 for a 400mL container, is her favourite on the market.

"I use this religiously ... it’s so affordable, and makes my skin look and feel amazing," she tells the website.

"I would buy a case of this at a time if I could find it."

It seems the actress, best known for her role as Rachel Zane on popular legal drama Suits, has been a fan of the product for a while now.

In a 2016 interview with The Express, she said she'd been using it since high school - in other words, before she became famous.

The 36-year-old's other top products included some slightly more expensive cult buys beloved by makeup obsessives - including NARS' iconic 'Orgasm' blush and Laura Mercier's illuminating primer.

However, you'll find another budget-friendly product in her bounty.

Markle also names Biore's Cleansing Cloths ($6.99) as the staple she buys in bulk.

"They’re great to keep in the car and on your nightstand when you have those horribly lazy nights that the thought of getting up to actually wash your face seems unbearable," she tells Beauty Banter.
