Man rubs his crotch against undercover police officer
When you're on a packed morning train, it's an unavoidable – and uncomfortable – reality that your precious personal space will be invaded by total strangers.
But when a man repeatedly rubbed his crotch against a woman on the NYC subway, she was armed with the full-force of the law to take down his seedy advances.
Felipe Mondragon, 52, who has now has been arrested, allegedly assaulted the plainclothes female police officer on an uptown train that had just left Union Square station.
At the time of the alleged incident, the NYPD officer was accompanied by her partner and a sergeant, who were also out of uniform.
The detective was on the subway as part of the NYPD Transit Bureau’s Anti-Crime Squad, which patrols carriages undercover in a bid to prevent crime.
The Jackson Heights resident was arrested on the spot and hauled off the train at the 23rd Street station.
He was later charged with forcible touching and sex abuse.
This isn't the first time a sexual harasser landed himself on hot water after targeting an officer. Back in May, Osa Ayanru, was arrested at the 59th Street station for grinding himself on an on an undercover police officer's leg.
