Rob was convinced he was 'hallucinating' when he spotted $12 item on the op shop floor: 'This can't be real'
Hiring removalists can be a tricky situation, you have to be prepared to lose a few things along the way. No one knows why it happens, we just know it does.
But one thing you never expect is for the items you lose in the move to show up 30 years later.
So it's understandable that Rob Klaric got the shock of a lifetime when he walked into an op shop and saw images of himself and his wife up for sale.

Speaking with Ben Fordham on Ben Fordham Live! on 2GB this morning, Klaric explained that he never expected to find his long-lost images when he walked into the Mosman Lifeline store.
"Look, I'm still buzzing with this. I mean, what's the chances?" he said to Fordham.

"I've walked into a store and I see these pictures and I thought I was hallucinating, I thought, 'No, this can't be'."
He shared that he first noticed an image of his wife of 35 years Leonie, taken back in 1988 when they'd first gotten together.
"We backpacked across Europe, [went] to my mother's place in the north of Italy – so the photo's iconic because it's in my mother's backyard and Mum's just passed away a few years ago now – and I just, I still tremble because I thought, 'this can't be real'."
Klaric described the moment as "unbelievable" and "surreal," explaining that the year after the trip he and Leonie had gotten married, and the year following they had these images framed before losing them in a move around 1993.
And even though Klaric and his wife were the original owners of the images, they still paid for and purchased them from Lifeline.

"But the ironic thing, Benny," Klaric said as he began to chuckle, "Is that my picture – apologies, Leonie – mine was more expensive. Mine was $12 and hers was $8."
"But look, it's got my mum, my beautiful old Italian mum, it's got her fingerprints all over it," Klaric added of the serendipitous moment.
"Because those pictures were right in the middle [of the shop], on the floor, you would have never seen it unless you walked through the store. And if it was on the left or the right you wouldn't have seen it.
"I think she's looking down from Heaven."
