MAFS's Ryan Gallagher reveals his new career after heartbreak on the show
Ryan Gallagher has gained a reputation as the ‘funny guy’ from Married at First Sight.
His quirky sense of humour quickly won over viewers of the hit reality TV show and now the 29-year-old is trying to make a career out of stand-up comedy.
"I've always loved making people laugh and that's it really," he told A Current Affair.
"If I can do it in front of a classroom, i'm sure i can do it in front of 500 pissed people," he laughed.

"I've wanted to do this since I've been about 15, so this is just my first go and floggin it and hopefully it goes good and I can keep going with it," he said.

Despite being ditched by his on-screen wife Davina in front of millions of Australians, Ryan insists he can see the funny side to his public humiliation.

He has spent the week perfecting his routine, which includes classic one liners about his co-stars and a trip down memory lane to look at his disastrous dating history.
"There's a bit about my marriage, a bit about my leading up to it and then a lot about my dating life. Which is dreadful."
