Real Housewives star proposes to model for a second time months after ending engagement

Real Housewives of Miami star Lenny Hochstein is engaged again!

The plastic surgeon and reality TV star, 58, popped the question for a second time to his Austrian model girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa, 29.

It comes just months after the pair ended their first engagement in September and announced their split.

Sharing pictures from the moment he proposed at a mansion, believed to be their home, he wrote to his followers on Instagram: "Sometimes life gives you a second chance and you realise what truly matters."

"After everything we've been through, I knew I would never let her go again. Here's to a love that's worth fighting for, stronger than ever, and a future we'll build together. ❤️💍."

In the images, the pair are seen embracing and kissing after he dropped down to one knee.

Mazepa also shared footage from the proposal, which took place in front of friends.

"♾️ stolen by @lennyhochstein," she captioned her post.

"Congrats!!" The Hills star Heidi Montag commented underneath.

He said in a statement to US Weekly and Page Six: "I am beyond grateful for this second chance at love with the woman of my dreams. Love has a way of finding its way back to where it belongs and if I have learned anything it is that Katharina belongs in my arms forever."

"That is why this past weekend, in our home and in front of her best friends, I asked for her hand in marriage."

The couple originally got engaged in Ibiza, Spain, in July last year.

"On top of an ancient pirate cave, overlooking the sunset over breathtaking Es Vedrá, he asked to steal me away forever," the model wrote at the time in her announcement post.

Mazepa is a former Miss Vienna, winning the title a decade ago.

She previously gushed about the plastic surgeon, writing underneath a picture of the pair together: "Home isn't 4 walls. Home is 2 arms & a heartbeat."

He was previously married to reality star Lisa Marie Hochstein.

It was recently reported the pair finalised their divorce. They married in 2009.

She has since moved on with tech entrepreneur Jody Glidden.

The Canadian-American star previously spoke about how their two children were handling the split, telling Daily Dish: "I'm trying my best to just make this transition for them [as] easy as possible. But they're smart, and they see that things are different."

''It's very sad, but we'll get through it. A lot of kids go through it, and they come out fine."
