When press conferences are interrupted by children: Inside some of the most adorable sports pressers
Sometimes "bring your kids to work day" doesn't go quite according to plan.
At least this was the case for some of the sporting stars from around the world who found their post-game press conferences hilariously interrupted by their mini-mes.
From random words blurted out to going rogue and taking over the microphone, here are some of the adorable moments kids accidentally became the centre of attention during interviews.

Alex Bregman
American professional baseball player Alex Bregman was giving a post-game interview with MLB reporter Brian McTaggart in June 2024 when a special guest caught his attention.
While he was talking Bregman's then-nearly two-year-old son Knox called out for his "da-da", as captured in a video posted by McTaggart to X (formerly Twitter).
Bregman laughed and tried to keep talking. However, his son hilariously kept interrupting with one request...
Looking up at his dad from the ground, Knox then said the words "batting cage", catching Bregman's attention.
The star then lent down to pick up his son.
"Yeah, we're gonna go to the cage," Bregman told his son, referring to going to play at the baseball batting cage later.
Knox once again called out the word "cage', clearly persistent for some one-on-one sporting time with his dad.
Rocco Baldelli
Minnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli was just trying to answer some questions in a press conference, but his daughter Louisa wasn't having it.
In a video posted to the baseball team's X account, Baldelli sat behind a desk in a post-game interview after the Twins beat the Boston Red Sox.
While he was busy talking, his 21-month-old daughter suddenly walked into the camera frame.
But she didn't just go up to her dad to chat. The little one had another reason in mind to interrupt her dad at work.
Baldelli's daughter wandered straight up to him to hand her dad a baseball.
She then hilariously walked away before returning with another baseball to gift the coach.
Baldelli ended up with both hands full and another ball balanced under his arm.
Francisco Lindor
A video posted by the MLB on X captured the hilarious moment New York Mets player Francisco Lindor was interrupted mid-press conference with one word from his daughter.
The baseball player's 21-month-old daughter Kalina was sitting on his lap for his postgame interview in October 2022 after the Mets beat the San Diego Padres.
But in the middle of her dad talking, Kalina called out for someone unexpected.
"Papa, Buck!" she called out, referring to the Mets manager Buck Showalter as she pointed to someone in the crowd off-camera.
"Yeah, Buck left," Lindor told his daughter.
"She loves Buck," he explained to the reporters.
Stephen Curry
Steph Curry's daughter Riley added some lighthearted entertainment to one of his 2015 postgame interviews.
Riley, who was just two at the time, joined her father on the stage while he answered his reporter questions the Golden State Warriors beat the Houston Rockets.
In the video posted to the NBA's YouTube channel, Curry told his daughter to "stand right there" as she tried to walk on stage.
"I want to sit on your lap," she told her dad.
The two-year-old then told her dad: "You're too loud, Daddy!"
"Be quiet," she added.
While Curry tried to keep talking as if nothing had happened, his daughter then dramatically yawned, stretching her arm above her head.
