Kelly Kay, the girlfriend of late American college footballer Spencer Webb, has announced her pregnancy one month after his death at age 22.

Webb died in July after a devastating cliff-diving accident at a popular swimming hole near Triangle Lake, Oregon.

Weeks later, Kay, 30, announced her pregnancy on Instagram, writing alongside shots of herself with an ultrasound photo and 'Coming Soon Baby Webb' sign, "We created an angel before heaven gained one 🕊"

"Can't believe I have to do it without you but knowing I'll have a piece of you keeps me going. I can't wait to meet the person that's half you, half me. I love you forever, both of you 🤍♾🕷🕸"

In the post, Kay also included a screenshot of a text message exchange between herself and Webb, who was saved in her phone as "Baby Daddy 💚".

Webb's death on July 13 was announced by his team's head coach Dan Lanning, and days later, Kay shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late boyfriend on Instagram.

"My best friend my twin flame the love of my life. I've never loved anything as much as i love you," she wrote alongside a series of images of them together.

"You were my everything, you gave me purpose, you showed me what it's like to be cherished and valued and seen for me. We had so many big plans. I don't know where to go from here but I know you'll be watching over me keeping me strong. You always put everybody else before yourself and I'll try to hold the same kindness in my heart ❤️‍🔥 from this life to the next one baby I love you so much and I'll find you again 🕊🕸"

Lane County Sherriff's Office reported that there was no evidence of foul play in Webb's death, and the incident "appeared to be accidental" when he fell down a steep trail and struck his head. Authorities said no bystanders or paramedics were able to reach Webb to help him.
