Now Itsines has taken to the social media platform to share the inspiration behind her daughter's uniquely beautiful name.

Posting a touching photo of herself and baby Arna surrounded by family on Mother's Day, Itsines wrote that she wanted her daughter's name to pay tribute to her Greek heritage.

"We wanted to choose a name that was somewhat Greek and traditional by passing on the names of my family through to the next generation," she wrote in the caption.

"Our daughter Arna Leia is named after my incredible mother, Anna and hilarious sister, Leah."

She went on to explain that Anna is spelled 'Avva' in Greek, so she and Tobi chose 'Arna' for their daughter as it was the closest spelling to the Greek pronunciation.

It was only later that they found out Arna also means 'strength' in some cultures, something Itsines called "so beautiful!"

They also took the Greek spelling of Leah for their baby girl, Itsines explaining; "We chose these names to preserve my family’s proud Greek heritage."

She also took the opportunity to thank her fans for all their well wishes since Arna's birth, as well as sharing a sweet Mother's Day message.
