James Bracey shares adorable pic of his new bub

Nine sports presenter James Bracey is officially a doting new dad, sharing with the world a pic of his first daughter this morning.

Baby girl Matilda was born last week to Bracey, 34, and his wife, Margot.

In an Instagram post, the sports presenter introduced the little one to his social media, accompanied by her name in the caption and the hashtag #westillloveyouAce – referring to the couple's golden retriever.

Fans and friends flooded the new dad with congratulations on Instagram.

Speaking to 9Honey, it's clear the 34-year-old is relishing life with his bundle of joy.

"We’re loving life at home with little Matilda," Bracey told 9Honey. "It’s still hard to believe she’s all ours."

Wife Margot only returned from the hospital on Monday, meaning life at home with a new addition is still quite fresh.

"Margot is doing great and thank goodness Matilda picked up all of Mum’s beautiful features," he said.

"The only thing I can find to prove she’s mine is her bent pinkies!"

The State of Origin host then showed 9Honey a picture of their fingers, side-by-side, demonstrating that she does in fact share that unique kink in her finger. "Glad I could contribute," he joked.

Bracey married Margot in 2012 and announced they were expecting their first baby back in June.
