Influencer caught faking a first class flight hits back

An Instagram influencer, who was caught faking her business class seat on a flight has hit back after backlash from the staged picture.

Oceane El Himer uploaded a photo of herself sitting in first-class while on a flight, however, the French model was caught going back to her economy class seat once the photoshoot for her socials had wrapped.

Now, El Himer has hit back at the backlash, uploading an image of her in a business class seat on a different flight, giving the camera the finger alongside the cheeky caption: "This time I promise I paid."

Instagram fans loved the tongue-in-cheek photo, many commenting with laughing emojis.

"Take the pic quickly before they kick us back to the economy class," one user wrote.

"Alright can you now return back to your economy seat?" joked another.

The 27-year-old'd fake flight was exposed last week, when she shared a photo with her 884,000 Instagram followers, showing her posing in the exclusive section of the plane, captioning the picture "Next Stop - Monaco Je fly toute la night."

However, a fellow passenger later revealed she was sitting beside them in economy class for the flight.

Taking to Snapchat to clear the air, the social media star said she has "no issue" with travelling in economy class.

"I took several flights to arrive in the south, including one in eco class," she said. "I fully assume the fact of travelling in eco class, I'm not the type of girl who likes to show her money."

"Yes I travelled in eco and in business. And so? Where is the problem, I do not understand?" the model continued.

"Much more serious things are happening in life."
