TikToker reveals his water bottle 'test' to expose cheating partners

There is a simple test you can use if you suspect your partner of infidelity, and all you need is a used water bottle.

Daniel Hentshcel (@danhentschel from Los Angeles in the US explains the test on @danhentschel.

"Is your partner cheating? TEST," he titles the video, which went viral over the weekend with an extraordinary 9.2 million views.

The test makes use of a used water bottle, which can be found on sale at charity stores.

"How to test your partner to see if they're cheating. Buy a used water bottle from Goodwill that could theoretically belong to anyone," Hentshcel explains in the video.

He says to pretend to find the bottle while in the car with your partner, then pick it up and show it to your partner and say the following words: "Here's your water bottle."

"This only works if they think that you think it's theirs," he adds.

If your partner has nothing to hide, Hentschel says they will immediately respond by saying the water bottle doesn't belong to them and they don't know who it belongs to.

If they are guilty of cheating, they may think the bottle belongs to their lover and then agree it is theirs as a cover.

Hentschel says the test also works in any space you suspect your partner may have been cheating in, including your home.

The video has attracted more than 7,600 comments, with many planning to use the test on their partners.

"I feel like this would actually work," one of his one million followers commented.

"This man gets more and more logical everyday," another said.

Another asked: "How do you keep thinking of these ideas?"

"No wait this is a good one," one TikToker said.

Others were skeptical of the relationship test.

"Warning: might not work if your partner has ADD and has no idea what water bottles they do and don't own," one woman commented.

Another said: "But I would prob say thanks and assume one of my friends left it there."

One person warns: "This only works if there's no confusing it with one they own already, but not bad."

"My husband would 100% thank me bc he has no idea what our stuff looks like lmao," another said.
