Woman reveals her grandma's life-changing hack to make too-tight jeans fit like a glove

A woman has revealed the life-changing hack her grandma gave her that make too-tight jeans fit like a glove.

Lily Schoknecht received the unusual tip after a newly-purchased pair of jeans didn't fit her and she mentioned her disappointment to her grandmother.

In video posted to TikTok, she explained she had bought the pants a size down as they were second-hand. Trying them on, she found they were too small and put the purchase down to a "tough loss" as they didn't fit at all.

However, she was surprised and equally curious when her grandmother told her to hop into the shower.

"I spoke to my nana about them, and she said, 'Have you showered in them yet?' I was like, 'What? No, I haven't showered in my jeans. What are you talking about?'" Schoknecht told her followers.

"She was like, 'Just trust me, shower in them, wear them around the house, stretch them out a little bit, and then let them air dry and don't put them in the dryer again.'"

The TikToker, who was "desperate" to fit into her new jeans, did exactly what her grandma suggested and was surprised when the jeans fit like a glove the following morning.

Viewers have been left stunned by the hack, many chiming in with their thoughts.

One TikTok user wrote, "Okay but did you ask nana where she came up with this? is this a long lost hack?"
