I am a perpetual clutz, and the wide array of stains of all shapes and sizes of every piece of clothing I own can attest to that.

I have spent countless hours at the sink at work trying to get a stain out of my pants with nothing but hand soap and hope.

It might sound steep, but it literally changed my life. Now I don't leave the house without it.

While I absolutely love the product, it definitely works better on certain materials.

I usually spot test the pens on a new item somewhere hidden inside, as it can leave a watermark stain on some materials.

The pens work incredibly well with any material slick finish. It's perfect for getting spot stains out of trench coats, work pants, work shirts, denim, mesh, linen, polyester, and other light-weight materials with tight weaves.

The item is also bleach-free, which means you don't have to worry about using it on darker colours.

I have found that it leaves bad stains on heavier cotton knitted materials, like what jumpers are made of, so I would recommend just popping it in the wash when you get home instead.

For whatever reason, I also find it leaves stains on cotton T-shirts, so apply it very lightly if you must.

You don't need to use any water with the pen, you can just push down to expel the cleaning solution and then use the pen's tip to rub the stain out wherever you are.

I also have to note I'm yet to spill something that the Tide pen hasn't been able to clean including, juice, wine, coffee, mascara, makeup, soft drink, all types of food and sauces.
