Everything I'm adding to cart from Kmart's February living range
Stripes and earthy tones have taken over in the homewares space.
As an avid fan of affordable yet aesthetically pleasing furniture, I was super excited to take a sneak peek of Kmart's new February living range at a launch in Sydney.
The range offers something for everyone, from a foam expandable couch to porcelain dinnerware and cotton-linen bed sheets.

There's so much in the collection, but here is everything I would buy for myself.
The standout from the newest furniture was the three-seat compressed sofa.
The cool part about the sofa is that it's made entirely out of dense foam, which means it comes compressed down and then it expands to its full size in 72 hours.
"It's one of our latest innovations," Siri Thanissorn, Kmart Living Home Design Manager, told nine.com.au.

"It's expandable, it comes in a really small box, super compact, you just open it up and it expands out!"
Personally, I think it's a great addition to a space that needs a couch that you don't want to invest too much time or money into, like a guest room or a granny flat!
It comes in brown and green styles and is only available online for $599.
The other great option was the striped armchair in an on-trend green and white stripe, which will be available online in the next few weeks.

Green was the common colour in this collection, as well as brown and blue.
"Green has been synonymous with wellness for some time, I would say green is the new grey," Thanissorn said.
"It's really versatile, and it's got that natural aesthetic about it that can seamlessly blend into everybody's home."
I loved the Stripe Linen Cotton Quilt Cover Set for $62 (for a queen size). Kmart
The armchair would look great as a staple piece in a living room, or you could use it to add some colour to a bedroom.
Speaking of the bedroom section, I loved the Stripe Linen Cotton Quilt Cover Set for $62 (for a queen size).
The striped pattern is so cute, and it comes in a bunch of different colours – not to mention they feel really soft and smooth.

Stripes are not just found in the bedding section of the new range – they carry across to every part.
"The stripes are really on trend at the moment, they've been around for a long-time they're a really timeless print," Kmart buyer Nicholas Holmes said.
"What's really put them on the map is the colour combination stripes can provide."
The winners for me were the porcelain White Bistro Dinner Plates and the Blue Weave Ruffle Place mat. Kmart
My favourite part of the newest range was the dining and kitchenware collection.
The plates and table décor are so pretty, and such an easy way to dress up your table!
The winners for me were the porcelain White Bistro Dinner Plates and Bowls, which are $4.50 each.
I absolutely adored the Blue Weave Ruffle Placemat – for just $1.75 each how can you go wrong?
The wavy ruffle design is the perfect way to add some texture and style to your table scape.
The wooden Blonde Salt and Pepper Grinders for $16 deserve an honourable mention. Kmart
