Reason shoppers are obsessed with this stylish $12 Kmart laundry dupe
A $12 laundry product from Kmart has shoppers in a frenzy after design-savvy customers noticed a similarity to a more expensive version.
The 50L oval trellis laundry basket is considered a dupe of a laundry basket from Danish design brand Hay, which typically costs $65 so that means a saving of $53.
Mum Sinead Finn raved about Kmart's version in a TikTok.

"When I saw these online I had to check them out ASAP. These Kmart laundry baskets are giving serious dupe vibes – if you know, you know and I'm obsessed," she said.
Finn said she bought four laundry baskets, one for each person in the house, and the matching laundry hamper.
"I've had the original Hay's basket in my shopping cart so many times but I couldn't justify spending $60 plus when I needed so many laundry baskets... this might be my best Kmart find yet," she added.

Another shopper Nicola McNamara also shared her appreciation for the Kmart laundry baskets on her TikTok page.
She shared a video showing the baskets on shelves in store and then in her laundry where they fit perfectly on shelves under her washer and dryer.
"Mum porn !! thanks kmart for the $12 HAY basket dupes," she captioned her post.
Based on the comments section of both clips it seems the laundry baskets are a big hit.
"Will make my laundry that needed to be folded a week ago look nicer," one joked.
"They look great !! Stylish ! I'm going to Kmart today," wrote a TikToker.

"Yes! I got these as well, massive Kmart slay," a shopper posted.
"Washing never looked so good!!," another commented.
Kmart's trellis basket range not only includes the $12 oval laundry basket and the $25 laundry hamper, there is also four baskets with lids ranging in size and price from 5.6L for $5 to 28L for $12.
