We can probably all agree that cleaning kitchen cabinets isn't the best of tasks, especially when it comes to the doors and dusting the tops.

It's not that it's particularly hard, it's just a bit tedious. Between getting the grease and grime that's been stuck there for weeks, having to crawl on your knees to get the bottom doors, and the seemingly never ending task of dusting, it's a part of cleaning that really feels like a chore.

Well, if you're reading this and thinking, "there has to be a simpler way" you're 100 per cent correct. In fact, there are two simpler ways.

Whether it's cleaning your cabinet doors or dusting those hard to reach areas that you hate (or maybe both), we've found the perfect solutions.

How to clean your cabinet doors

When we tell you this idea, you're going to wonder why you've never tried it before.

It's simple, it's effective, and you already have everything you need.

The best and easiest way to make sure your cabinet doors are cleaner than they've ever been is to use a mop.

As shown in @likesoverlemons' TikTok video, all you have to do is put just a little bit of cleaning agent ( multipurpose cleaniner, dishwashing liquid or vinegar for example) into your mop bucket and mix with warm water.

Then, when you submerge the mop and ring it out, you want to make sure there is barely any water left in the mop.

It needs to be a little bit damp, but definitely not wet.

Then all you have to do is take the mop to the outsides (and the insides if you like) of your kitchen cabinet doors and they'll be shiny in no time!

How to remove dust from your kitchen cabinets

So, what about the pesky tops of the cabinets? You know, the place where you can't see what's hiding up there but you just know it's covered in dust?

Well, we've found a really simple way to fix that issue permanently thanks to TikTok creator Sunday Omony.

Take a duster to the top of the cabinets and make sure you really get in there.

If it's been a while some dust might actually be stuck on with the grease that gets in the air while cooking, so try a kitchen spray containing degreaser or warm soapy water made with dishwashing liquid to give in a scrub with a non-scratch scourer. You might even need a plastic scraper if it's really bad.

Once you're confident you've removed all the dust and grime, simply lay some baking paper down. Newspaper sheets work too if that's what you have on hand.

Having the baking paper on the top of the cabinets means that when they start to get dusty all those particles will fall on the paper rather than the cabinet.

Then you can simply remove the old baking paper and put a new sheet down – no dusting required!

And the best part is that no one will even know it's there, unless you have some very tall people in your household.

So, there you have it – the quickest and easiest way to clean your kitchen cabinets and make sure they stay that way.
