'This is for my clumsy eaters': Unlikely beauty product hack removes oil stains from clothes without washing

If you're one of those people that is notorious for spilling food on clothes you might want to start keeping a bottle of dry shampoo on hand.

Social media personality Imann who goes by @imaanduh on TikTok has shared a quick trick for removing oil stains from clothes.

Imann showed her followers how she removed the stain in seconds using dry shampoo in a recent video.

"Obviously have an oil stain on my shirt, I was eating Carrabba's," she said of her visit to the Italian-American restaurant.

So she sprayed dry shampoo on her shirt and let it sit for one hour.

Then, she simply gets a cloth and swipes it off and the stain is gone.

"Dry shampoo, is a hack," she confirmed.

Imaan's post was a hit with TikTok users who have watched the video more than three million times.

One user wrote, "GIRL WHAT!!!!!!!! This is brilliant."

Another included their own hack saying, "Also, baby powder on oil stains works too!".

Now aside from dry shampoo, there are a other oil stain removal hacks you can try.

Dishwashing liquid is one of the most popular ways to remove oil stains, and the easiest seeing we all have it on hand in the kitchen.

It works on oil stains because it typically contains degreasers to remove oil from our kitchenware so it has the same effect on fabric.

All you need to do is pop a couple drops of the detergent on the stain and rub it in before leaving for around five to 10 minutes. Then wash in the machine as normal and stains be gone!
