This clever bin hack means you'll never forget to replace the bag ever again
Taking out the rubbish is something a lot of us leave as long as possible and once that's done it can be easy to forget to go back and put a new bag in.
Professional organiser Jacqueline Stein has revealed a hack that could change that and make it so easy to add a new bag that you'll never forget to replace it again.
In an Instagram reel, Stein showed the hack in action and it's very simple to do.

Just by placing the bag roll at the bottom of the bin you'll always remember to replace the bag. Instagram/@home_reimagined_
"I ALWAYS forget to replace the trash bag, so I use this hack to solve that issue!" she captioned the post.
"Put the entire trash bag roll in the bottom of the trash bin, pull a bag up, leave it attached to the roll and put it on the trash can!! When you need to replace it, remove, rip the bag off of the roll and you are already ready to put a new one one. It is THAT simple!!"
So you really can't miss the next empty bag because it pops right up when you take the old one out.
The hack also works if you are reusing plastic bags (though many of us don't have a stash of supermarket bags to use anymore). All you need to do is layer the bags inside of each other and put them in the bin as normal and each time you remove one another will be right behind it ready to go.
According to several comments on the post, this hack has been used in schools and also by nurses for years.

While many thought the hack was clever, there is one big downside if you get a leak.
"I have actually tried this, and found that it only works as long as the trash is clean. Otherwise you end up with gross stuff on the whole roll of bags," a woman said.
The other con is that if you have multiple bins in the house, for example, in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, you'd need a separate roll to store in each rather than just pulling one from the same roll as needed.
