Hens and bucks parties have long been considered a mandatory event when it comes to planning a wedding, but have they become outdated?
With the rise of social media, expectations for hens parties in particular are through the roof, bridesmaids forking out thousands to throw their bride an Insta-worthy bash.

Meanwhile many a marriage has been put on hold because of bucks night bad behaviour, because drunk blokes and strippers are never a good idea.
Though some couples are opting out of the tradition and choosing to enjoy nights in with their wedding party or something more casual, they seem to be in the minority.
But should couples be doing away with the parties altogether, or have they become outdated all on their own?

Shelly Horton posed the question to Ben Fordham, Jane de Graaff and Jo Abi this week on Talking Honey and their answers prompted more than a little bit of discussion.
"That's why I never had a bucks party," Fordham even revealed.
