Susie Burrell's low-GI turkey meatballs

Serves 4

You will need

500g turkey mince 

1 medium onion, finely diced
4 slices Helga’s Lower Carb Soy and Toasted Sesame, blended into crumbs

1 egg
1/2 cup fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano, marjoram)

1/2 cup reduced fat grated cheese
250ml tomato pasta sauce

420g can tinned tomatoes
1 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic

Method

1 Mix mince, onion, egg, herbs and cheese into small balls and roll in Lower Carb breadcrumbs.
2 Fry with a little olive oil in a fry pan until cooked through.
3 Meanwhile, simmer tomatoes in small amount of olive oil, with garlic.
4 Serve sauce once reduced with turkey balls.
