Pineapple

Pineapples contain melatonin, vitamin C, magnesium and fiber, all of which can help to regulate your sleep-wake cycle.

While melatonin doesn't magically make you sleepy, a higher level of it in the body signals to your brain that it's time to fall asleep for the night.

If you don't believe the science, there are plenty of users on TikTok touting the benefits of pineapple in getting a good sleep.

"Eat pineapple before bed if you struggle with sleep," certified nutritionist Emma Leigh wrote in her caption.

Another user, a health coach, says that she snacks on frozen pineapple before bed or blends it into a tea to help her sleep.

"It's also great for waking up not puffy!!," she wrote in the video's caption.
