People are sharing George Michael’s kindest acts of generosity
The world is still coming to terms with the fact that legendary singer George Michael has died, and to help us remember his kindness, people are sharing his most touching acts of charity.
The 53-year-old, who passed away on Christmas day, took part in the Live Aid concert and released a charity single called True Faith, but he also reportedly donated huge amounts to UK charities Macmillan Cancer Support, the Terrence Higgins Trust and Childline. Now, people are taking to social media to share the other, more private things he did to help out those who really needed it.

He bought the piano John Lennon composed Imagine on for £1.45million (around $2.4million) from a private collector. He then donated it to the Beatles Story museum in Liverpool so that it could be kept in the UK, and Lennon’s hometown, forever.
