It's not hard to see why the footage caught the eye of the Reddit community recently. Inspired by a similar viral fruit peeling clip, user CafeSilver purchased the appliance online and wasted no time filming it in action over the weekend, attracting a horde of attention from the peeling curious.

"I bought it to mass peel oranges to juice using my centrifugal juicer. Had the juicer for years but hardly used it because peeling oranges sucks and it's messy. This peeler fixes that. It can peel 10 oranges in about 3-4 minutes."

Peeling perfection doesn't come cheap, however—CafeSilver admits the machine set him back around US$140 ($183), half of which was spend on shipping the appliance from Spain, but still considers it a worthy investment.
