Woolworths puts a delicious spin on the beloved roast chook
Those who say Australia has no culture obviously have never encountered the bachelor's handbag.
If you're not up with the lingo, a bachelor's handbag simply refers to a supermarket roast chicken – which, by the way, has just received a makeover.
While we all know and love the traditional roast chicken, Woolworths has just announced it's releasing a brand new flavour.

Now, if you're seeing the words chicken and flavour in the same sentence and instantly recoiling at the thought, bear with us.
Woolworths has just announced the brand new Garlic Bread Hot Roast Chicken.
Sounds delicious, right?
The new flavour is the latest in Woolworths' Hot Roast Chicken range, which has previously included BBQ and Tandoori flavours.
Basically, what you can expect is a roast chicken seasoned with garlic and fragrant herbs to create a delicious golden brown crust, stuffed with real buttery goodness.
"We know Aussies love a roast chook, and we're always looking for ways to add some excitement to this customer favourite," said Woolworths Food Company Product Developer Callan Schafer.
"Garlic bread is a crowd-pleaser, and this flavour taps into the love Aussies have for this classic comfort food.
"Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, a weekend family feast, or even sliced up for sandwiches and salads."
The Garlic Bread Hot Roast Chicken is now available nationwide having hit Woolies' shelves on March 17.
Now, the only downside to this fantastic new creation is that it will cost you a little more than a regular roast chicken from the supermarket giant.
