A popular pasta sold at Woolworths has been recalled after metal was detected inside.
Patties Foods Pty Ltd has called for Leggo's Fresh Ricotta and Vegetable Tortellini to be pulled from the shelves in the supermarket's stores across Queensland.
Aussies are advised to check their pasta packets and return those set to expire by August 4, 2023.

"Food products contaminated with foreign matter (metal) may cause illness/injury if consumed," the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand website states.
"Consumers should not eat this product and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund."

The announcement comes a week after the supermarket put a call out to customers to return Woolworths Cookies & Cream Classic Ice Cream Sandwiches for the same reason.
The dessert was being sold in supermarkets across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory.
