The supermarket giant has just announced a brand new mudcake flavour is set to hit our shelves in the coming weeks and trust us when we say, you're going to want to be sitting down for this one.
Woolworths shoppers will be delighted to know that just in time for Easter, you'll be able to get your hands on the brand new Hot Cross Bun Mudcake.
The bakery team has been hard at work crafting the perfect balance of spices and plump sultanas, topping it all off with a spiced white chocolate ganache.
The new product is set to hit stores on Wednesday March 19 and will be available for just $7 each.
We're drooling just thinking about it.
"Our latest mudcake innovation, the hot cross bun flavour, combines the warmth and spice of an Easter classic, the traditional hot cross bun, with the iconic caramel mudcake base we know our customers love," said Woolworths Cake Category manager, Laura Mcleod.
"We can't wait for this one to arrive in the coming weeks."
With supermarket shelves stocked with all kinds of whacky hot cross bun flavours, Woolworths' newest creation throws a spanner in the works.
Instead of mixing up the flavour of a hot cross bun, they've decided to mix up another classic with the flavour of a hot cross bun.
Mind bending, we know.
