Immaculate Woolworths shelves go viral on TikTok: 'It's beautiful'

We've all walked into a supermarket at some point when the shelves are bare and items misplaced.

Perhaps this reason alone is why a TikTok of an immaculate Woolworths in Melbourne has gone viral, giving people hope that maybe one day they too can shop in such an aesthetically pleasing canned goods aisle.

"And literally ALL the shelves are like that!" TikTok user Becki wrote in astonishment, alongside the clip that has almost 40,000 likes and almost 210,000 views.

"Staff at my Woolies definitely need a rise. Look at this," she says in the video, showing off the aisle.

"As someone who works at the store and starts before the store is open, it looks like that before it gets absolutely trashed" added a user.

"Not gonna lie I actually struggled to look for things cause it was like an optical illusion," Becki, the original poster, joked in a comment.

Others think they know the reason behind the catalogue-worthy aisle.

"Not them doing a face-up before a head office or area manager visit," one user wrote.

"Big boss coming in today," agreed another.

Whether or not it was in preparation for head honchos paying a visit or an extremely organised team member, most users agreed it looked like a pretty idyllic place to stock up on canned goods.

"It's beautiful," declared a user, with another agreeing: "this is what dreams are made of."
