Well-known chef-to-the-stars, Justin Bull, was discovered deceased at his Eastern Suburbs establishment in Sydney this morning. Bull and his wife run Huxton's café in Bronte and are a well-known part of the hospitality scene.

Previously personal chef to both Russell Crowe and James Packer, the 46-year-old chef was also signed on by Brad Fittler to cook for the NSW Blues for State of Origin in 2018.

There are no suspicious circumstances and police were called to the venue this morning and have confirmed details with 9News.

Tributes are beginning to flow for the chef as the sad news spreads and the ripples are felt through the community that loved Justin, his cafe and his food.

NINE's David Campbell was a close personal friend of the chef, with Justin serving as David's best man at his wedding. David's message of grief has started the flow of social media tributes to the chef.

"I am heartbroken. Juzzy was my partner in crime, my best man and my best friend," David said in his tribute. "I though we would be talking about our kids over coffee when we were really old. I miss his laugh. It felt like we were joined at the hip for so long. My love goes to his family, Justine and Felix. I love you brother. DC"
