TikTok stunned as woman reveals what Haribo gummy really is

Katherine Scott

One woman may have just cracked a mystery that has long plagued fans of the cult Haribo sweet.

An ongoing debate has been raging around the true nature of one of Harbo's most mysterious looking gummies.

The brand's assorted range, dubbed Tangfastics, features gummies shaped like cherries, crocs and even milk bottles.

But one shape has eluded fans for years.

Haribo fans were stunned to learn the mysterious lolly was depicting a dummy all along. Haribo

Although some believe it to be a dummy, the lolly's very un-dummy-like shape has kept sweet tooths guessing.

Comprising a long rod-like component attached to a ring, theories around the lolly's true form has ranged from a key to a spaceship taking off from a moon.

However, TikToker @miaroserussell1 may have found the answer, which she demonstrates in a quick TikTok.

Apparently, there's a reason the lolly doesn't immediately resemble a dummy.

Taking one of the gummies from a packet of Tangfastics, she takes the yellow 'rod' and threads it through the ring until firmly locked in place.

Now resembling a dummy, she puts it in her mouth, adding the caption: "mind blown!!!"

Another online critic backed the woman's claim, referring to the Dummies packaging. Haribo

The footage has already garnered 330,000 views, and comments from stunned TikTokers ranging from "woah" to "no wayyyy".

"I thought it was keys," one critic wrote.

"I thought it was a bubble blower," another weighed in, with a third adding their own theory: "not me thinking it was a magnifying glass".

One online critic pointed out that Haribo Dummies sweets can actually be bought as a whole packet, thereby confirming the woman's theory.
