A man has gone viral after revealing his genius, mess-free hack for grating cheese and it's incredibly simple.
In a video shared to TikTok by Slade on The Dad Briefs account, the nifty trick was showcased and all you need to try it yourself at home is plastic ziplock bag and a cheese grater!
In the clip, Slade places a plastic zip lock bag over the bottom of a cheese grater and starts seamlessly grating the cheese on a chopping board.

When the cheese was grated, he lifted up the grater and the cheese settled at the bottom of the ziplock bag without leaving any mess on the kitchen table.
The clip was shared with the caption, "A grate old hack for #shreddedcheese."
The video quickly went viral, racking up over 1.4 million views and over 37,000 likes with many users chiming in to praise the TikToker for the hack.
One user quipped, "So grate!"
Another user added, "Well, it seems obvious now!"

TikTok chef and foodie Ayeh Manfre shared her "total game changer" recipe online, revealing it made the eggs taste much better and not "eggy at all".
In the viral video, Ayeh toasts a piece of sourdough bread and tops it with spicy mayonnaise and sliced avocado.
