Especially if that method is to cook an egg by poaching.
Forget about adding vinegar, waiting for bubbles in the boiling water or using a poaching pod — three chefs have discovered the ultimate hack to perfectly-poached eggs. Watch above.

Caught Snackin' says all you need is an egg, a ladle, and a pan of boiling water for the perfect poached egg. TikTok
TikTok account Caught Snackin', which is run by three London-based chefs, posted a tutorial to the video-sharing platform explaining the ultimate poached egg hack that will "change your brunch game forever."
All you need is a ladle, a pan of boiling water, and an egg.
The first step is breaking the egg directly into the ladle, then putting the ladle on top of the boiling water.

The chefs advise letting the water get into the middle of the ladle (like above), otherwise the egg is ruined/ TikTok
Keep the ladle on top of the boiling water, and wait until the egg whites become opaque — that's when the egg is poached perfectly.
Caught Snackin' also advises, however, to be careful when holding the ladle above the water, making sure that the water doesn't seep into the middle of the ladle.
Complement your easily-made perfectly-poached eggs with guacamole on a slice of sourdough toast, putting the egg on top and seasoning with salt and pepper.

Caught Snackin' ate their poached egg with sourdough toast and two tablespoons of guacamole. TikTok
Caught Snackin's video has been viewed over 2.6 million times, and many TikTok users are astounded by the hack's simplicity.
"That is the best hack I have ever seen in my entire life," one user wrote.
Another said: "Why have I never thought to poach an egg like that?! That is genius."

Others, however, were not impressed.
"A steamed egg. Yikes, I prefer good old poachies with malt vinegar in the water," one person wrote.
Another person said that the finished product looks "rubbery," while one TikTok user took issue with using the method to prepare more than one egg.
"The first [egg] will be cold by the time you do the second," the user commented.
