Simple 10-second orange peeling hack goes viral: 'Need to try that'
Peeling oranges can end up a messy endeavour, what with the juice dripping everywhere if you squeeze just a little too hard.
But now one mum's incredibly simple way of peeling the popular fruit for her toddler has gone viral, as she manages to have the snack ready to eat in barely 10 seconds.
TikTok user Brittany Roper shared a video of herself "cutting cutie oranges" and it has since been viewed over 1.6 million times.

One mum's orange peeling hack has gone viral. TikTok
In the clip, which you can watch above, the mum from the US turns a mandarin orange (called 'cutie' in Texas, as she explains in the comments) on its side to cut it in half.
Once she has two halves, she pushes it from underneath to turn the orange inside out, resulting in easy to pick segments that are the perfect size for her little one.
The trick was praised by her followers, with the video gaining over 1100 comments and over 149,000 likes, some calling the hack 'genius'.

"My whole life was a lie," one person commented.
"I need to try that!!!" another said.
"My life will never be the same again", was another response, while a fourth person wrote: "I'm learning more on this app than I ever did in school."

Meanwhile, one person suggested: "If you cut it stem to bottom you'll have full slices come out the same way." Which Brittany then demonstrated in a follow up video.
Indeed, this time the pieces came out as more 'adult-sized' full slices.
"I am going to do this starting today. Thank you," was a grateful response.
