Steak vending machines exist to satisfy your late night cravings

Majority of us are used to heading to a local grocery store or butcher for a fine cut of meat. 

But what do you do when you’re craving a piece of meat in the middle of night? Or at 5am? Because meat cravings are real.

We’re here to tell you that we now live in a world where you can order a steak from a vending machine. Gone are the days of delayed gratification.

Joshua Applestone, founder of a New York-based company that bears his name is on a mission to make meat more accessible to the public. That means purchasing meat at all hours of the day, and never having to go without.

In his mind, the future is in vending machines filled with strip steaks, pork chops, and Italian sausage.

These machines have already started popping up around New York, but Applestone is looking to expand the operation and introduce them in every city in America, reports Bloomberg.

‘We’re not in the 1950s, where everyone works 9 to 5 and eats at the same time every night’ Applestone told Bloomberg.

‘Life is chaotic. At best’ he continued.

The quality of the product helps assuage concerns over pulling a piece of meat out of a vending machine.

The vending machines are meant to dispense raw meat like steaks and chops, and all products will remain in the confines of the machine for a week tops.  

If this venture proves to be a success, it won't be long before the concept is introduced in Australia.
