McDonald’s is renowned for their golden hot chips, but the tomato sauce packet tends to create a nuisance for customers opting for takeaway.

From drizzling it over your chips to using a plastic bag as a means for dipping your sauce – french fry lovers have concocted their own personal methods for eating their beloved chips.

But we’re here to tell you that there’s a hack circulating on the internet and it might just revolutionise the way you consume chips.

“Did y’all know the flap on your fries box actually has a purpose” the Twitter user wrote.

Here at 9Honey Kitchen, we immediately trialled this method for ourselves. By simply hold the box steadily in one hand, with the other, we folded the taller side of said fry box down until it sits horizontally. Then we proceeded to squeeze tomato sauce on to the horizontal flap, and effortlessly dip our chips into the sauce.
