McDonald's customer's McFlurry find sparks debate: 'Golden ratio'

If you've never asked for extra toppings when ordering a McFlurry at McDonald's then, we're sorry, but you're doing it wrong.

At least that's the general consensus among lovers of the popular dessert. Not so it seems for this customer however, who shared their surprise online after ordering an M&M McFlurry at their local Macca's.

"More than half of my McFlurry was M&Ms," the customer from the US shared alongside photos of their dessert on a 'Mildly Infuriating' thread on Reddit.

"This is after eating a few spoonfuls of mostly M&Ms," they continued, holding the cup up against the light to show how much of the topping was still left after finishing the ice cream.

"I first thought it wasn't mixed well."

Judging by the comments, most people thought the customer had come up trumps with the extra topping on the dessert, with one person commenting: "I'm personally more infuriated when it's 90 per cent ice cream and 10 per cent M&M's."

"What!? You lucky bastard hahaha," another mused.

Meanwhile another wrote: "I see no problem here."

"This is the opposite of a problem," another agreed.

With one person then asking: "What are you complaining about?"

The original poster conceded that they were "starting to feel like they were doing me a solid here."

"Considering all the comments, I'm questioning myself," they said, adding: "Funny how there's a golden ratio there. Not too much but not too little."
