McDonald's brings back cheesy range with a twist for its winter menu overhaul

McDonald's has reintroduced it's cheesy range as part of its annual winter menu overhaul.

Alongside the returning Cheesy Chicken and Cheesy Beef, the fast-food giant is set to introduce a brand new burger: the Cheesy Angus.

Burgers included in the cheesy range have an additional patty made of delicious melting mozzarella cheese bound to win the heart of any cheese lover.

The entire Cheesy range including the new burger will be made available in Macca's restaurants nationwide from Wednesday August 2.

Don't wait too long to rush into your local Macca's however as the Cheesy Range is only available for a limited time.

Liz Whitbread, Senior Brand Manager for McDonald's Australia said the range was popular among fans when previously made available and is excited for its return.

"Our winter menu is all about great tasting winter indulgence, and it doesn't get much better than a cheesy twist on Macca's iconic flavours," Whitbread said.

"Starring a crispy, golden patty filled with melting cheese, combined with 100% Aussie beef or 100% Aussie RSPCA Approved chicken, the Cheesy range brings a delicious addition to our winter menu.:

She added: "Our last Cheesy range was a huge hit, so if the chilly season has kicked your cheese cravings into overdrive, make sure to head to your local Macca's before it's too late!"

Items from the cheesy range that are currently available include Mozzarella Sticks with Tomato Chilli Jam, Raspberry and Custard Pie and the Raspberry & Custard Pie McFlurry.
