Monopoly returns to McDonald's with world-first for some Aussie customers
McDonald's has announced the return of its famous Monopoly game across Australia.
The competition kicks off next week, on September 4, with some 60 million prizes on offer totalling a massive $753 million prize pool.
Prizes on offer this year include three ISUZU MU-X cars, valued at more than $70,000 each, as well as two $10,000 Webjet e-gift cards, 50 (yes, fif-ty!) $500 vouchers for The Iconic, along with free Doordash for a year among them.

Macca's fans could also score instant food prizes including burgers, fries and coffees but perhaps the tastiest of them all - you could win one year of free McDonald's.
To play, buy eligible menu items - either in store or using the MyMacca's app - such as 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a McFlurry, hash browns, or medium and large fries and coffee orders.
Making things a little different this time around, customers in Western Australia and Tasmania will actually be trialing a world-first version of the game.

They'll have the ability to use the app in restaurants, drive-thru or delivery, to have their tickets automatically awarded in the app, with "a bonus guaranteed win on their first three eligible orders".
For other customers across NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and the Northern Territory, you can play through a mix of physical ticketed menu items and the app.
Also new this year will be an exclusive list of menu item through the MyMacca's app for customers across the country.
These will include: the Big Brekkie Burger, medium and large cold coffees, medium and large frappes, as well as the McCrispy and McCrispy Deluxe burgers.
The promotion will run through from next Wednesday until October 22, 2024, giving people plenty of time to try their luck at the big prizes.
