Kitchen hack we learned from watching Elizabeth on 'MAFS'

Pizza tends to spark heated debates about topping choice, the right way to eat it, and thanks to Elizabeth on MAFS how to go about re-heating your leftovers.

Married at First Sight’s Elizabeth has put herself right in the middle of the conversation by heating her pizza in a toaster.

Let that sink in for a moment.

On last night’s episode, Elizabeth was abandoned by her husband Sam so that he could attend a funeral. 

How else do you pass time until your bae returns?

You eat pizza of course.

She proceeded to indulge in some emotional eating to quash the pain of his absence. 

Here at 9Honey Kitchen, we had to get to the bottom of Elizabeth's choice to pop her pizza in the toaster, and we were pleased to discover that she was aware of the potential safety hazards.

“The microwave leaves it soggy, but the toaster makes it crispy,” Elizabeth told 9Honey Kitchen.

“But you have to watch it to make sure that you don’t burn the house down” she jokes.

"It burns quite quickly and you can smell it when it when it’s gone too far". 

We recommend playing it safe and never putting anything too wet into the toaster folks. 

But this is a hack we’ve seen before and just proves that Liz is as real as the rest of us when it comes to finding kitchen shortcuts.

Naturally, the internet erupted over the toaster trick with fans applauding Elizabeth on her crafty kitchen skills.
