Man stumped by find in M&M packet on Halloween: 'Very annoying'

Whether you're into Halloween or not most of us are still partial to the occasion sweet treat.

But one man was left thoroughly disappointed this spooky season after opening up a packet of M&Ms that left a lot to be desired.

Sharing a photo of the chocolate on Reddit, user acridvortex revealed he was left stumped after finding it only had one single M&M inside.

"This package of M&M's with one M&M," he wrote, adding that "it was in a fun size multipack for Halloween" so there was no way to tell beforehand there was next to nothing inside.

"I bought a box of 95 fun size Halloween candy," he said. "I started to sample some of the Halloween candy before we hand it out."

The posts was flooded with over 150 comments, with many other users equally surprised by the find.

"More of an M than an M&M then really," one person commented.

"The 's' on the wrapper constitutes false advertising," another quipped.

While a third simply called it: "Shrinkflation."

"This is not 'fun' size," another wrote.

A few people thought he might have simply eaten the rest before sharing the image, but there were plenty of others who revealed they'd had a similar experience.

"If it's from a fun size multipack, I've had this happen at least four times with maltesers. Very annoying," one person said.

"I also got one recently that literally had three in it only," another shared.
