Aussie foodie Ayeh Manfre has left fans drooling after sharing an unexpected salad hack that enhances the flavour of any salad.

A lot of the surprise stems from the tip having nothing to do with ingredients, but rather what utensils people use when preparing and consuming their delicious dish.

In a TikTok video Manfre, who posts as @cookingwithayeh, explained cutting your salad ingredients into really tiny pieces and eating it with a spoon makes all the difference.

"The key is you need a spoon, because salads with a spoon always hit the spot different as you taste a little bit of everything in every bite."

To ensure a flavoursome experience, she recommended viewers looking to enhance their salads cut their vegetables or fruits into tiny pieces.

Using the example of her Greek salad, she showed fans how she cut up cucumbers, tomatoes, pepper and red onion into tiny cubes before adding finely chopped olives and dressing.

"In my opinion, salads are always better with a spoon," she captioned her video.
