'Best money I've spent': The $8 kitchen gadget shoppers can't stop raving about

There's nothing worse than getting home from a long day at work and remembering that the day isn't quite over yet – you still have to cook dinner.

It's a part of the weekly cycle that everyone dreads, chopping, peeling and cooking all kinds of vegetables in the name of a nutritious meal.

And while we can't completely remove the task from you're daily to-do list, the internet has discovered a $7.50 product that can make it much easier.

The budget pull chopper is available in Kmart's kitchen section in two different sizes, 400ml for $6.50 and 900ml for $7.50

"[It's] definitely quicker than dicing my onion, chopping up my garlic, and grating my carrot and zucchini," TikToker Tara Louise said after testing the product.

"Best thing we have ever purchased from Kmart," one TikTok user wrote in the comments section of Louise's video.

It seems that the main benefit of the product is the fact that it practically minces vegetables in a matter of seconds, making it easier than ever to hide some nutrition inside a meal.

"You cannot detect any veggies at all," Louise after rolling out meatballs with the veggies mixed through.

"I think [this product] is a big winner, I don't know why I haven't bought one of these earlier."

The device seems to have skyrocketed in popularity recently, with versions now available everywhere including Amazon, Kitchen Warehouse and even Bunnings.

Bunnings online sells a similar product for $9.95, or if you're looking for something a little more fun, you can get one that looks like a dumpling with a sweet little face for just $14.

Stores such as House and Kitchen Warehouse some fancier versions creeping into the $20 to $30 range, and even come electric options if you want to make life even easier.

For $14.95 Kitchen Warehouse sells the Kitchen Pro Prep Rechargeable Mini Food Chopper which essentially achieves the same result but rather than pulling a chord until your food is chopped, you simply just push a button and let the device do the work for you!
