KFC launch free delivery service over Easter long weekend for first time ever

As the nation bunkers down for a long weekend at home in line with new coronavirus lockdown rules and restrictions, KFC have announced they'll be offering free delivery across Australia for the very first time, in partnership with Menulog.

From Thursday April 9, 2020, people can put in an order for the Colonel's finest via the Menulog app or website, and enter the code KFCatHOME at the checkout to redeem free delivery when they spend $30 or more at participating KFC restaurants nationwide.

Kristi Woolrych, CMO at KFC Australia said: "Just because things are a bit different this year doesn't mean Aussies shouldn't be able to treat themselves, so KFC has your household covered with free delivery via Menulog."

They're not the only savvy fast food outlets jumping on the free delivery bandwagon in the increasingly competitive home delivery market.

Subway have teamed up with UberEats to offer free delivery for any orders over $15 with the code SUBWAYATHOME.

The promotion comes as the sandwich chain launch their new range of Parmi subs, featuring chicken, Napoletana sauce and cheese.

For those after something a little leaner, healthy burger chain Grill'd have also launched a direct delivery service, and are offering free delivery — as well as a 'Meat You in the Middle' promotion for 50 per cent of your first delivery. The offer is valid until April 12, 2020.
