'Read the room': The internet has a lot to say about influencer's $1570 meal at Coachella
Influencer Adelaine Morin has found herself in hot water after positing several videos detailing an exorbitant meal she enjoyed at Coachella.
Morin attended weekend one of the music festival, and treated herself and a friend to dinner at the Nobu restaurant pop-up.
In one of her videos, Morin explained that the restaurant takes "absolutely no walk-ins" adding that she accidentally booked for weekend two but was able to work something out in the end.

The food is served Omakase style, meaning the chef chooses the menu for you, and the fee must be paid in full when the booking is made.
"It's $US350 (approx. $550) per person, plus 22 per cent included gratuity," Morin explained.
"Plus, if you show up late they'll give you a bento box to go and you can't even eat it here."

The influencer went on to share that she believed the meal was worth the cost since it was a "once in a lifetime experience".
"You can have a Michelin star dinner and just across from you is the Quasar Stage where there's so many artists playing."
Along with some drinks, Morin's meal came to just under $US1000 (approx. $1570) for two people, and while she said she has "no regrets" her followers don't seem as pleased.

"Girl none of us can even afford groceries let alone Coachella let alone NOBU AT COACHELLA," one person commented.

In another video, Morin detailed everything she ate and drank giving everything a rating out of 10, and sharing that diners were only given 50 minutes to eat their meal.
"For 1k i feel like you should have enough time to enjoy and finish your experience without there being a time limit," one commenter pointed out.
Morin responded to the comment, saying, "I know that was the only thing that sucked 😭😭😭".
