Gin-filled baubles are the Christmas miracle we all need

If that daunting Christmas to-do list has you craving a stiff holiday drink then hoo-boy, do we have the festive buy for you – gin-filled baubles.

The novel invention by UK-based Pickering's Gin made headlines last Christmas after their entire stockpile of 30,000 gin baubles sold out in just 82 seconds.

This year, they're prepared – having manufactured 1 million gin-spiked baubles in time for the holiday season.

After last year's success, the company apparently employed an additional 19 helpers, averaging 20,000 baubles a day since January to meet demand. Unsurprisingly, the baubles are trending in time for Christmas.

Thankfully, Aussie gin lovers can now snap up some boozy baubles to adorn their festive ferns, with six-packs of coloured balls, each containing 50mls of Pickering's Gin (a bit over a standard shot), retailing for $44 via the company's international shipping partner.

But a word of caution – please drink and decorate responsibly this holiday season.
