Jamie Oliver reveals budget-friendly hack to make spaghetti bolognese for $2 a serve
As the cost of living continues to rise the last thing on our minds is spending more at the checkout on good, healthy food.
With this in mind celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has revealed a hack to make your favourite spaghetti bolognese for just under $2 a serve.
The British restaurateur and cookbook author claims the tip to achieving this budget meal is making the bolognese meat go twice as far.

This starts with batch-cooking and a second ingredient to add to the meat.
The second ingredient is lentils. Oliver uses half lentils and half minced beef or pork.
"It's not only kinder to the planet, but your wallet, too," he said.
"Plus, it's the gift that keeps on giving – there's so many fantastic ways to use up the leftovers.

The budget meal tips are part of Oliver's new one-off show Jamie's £1 Wonders. One British pound is about $2 Australian.
