Disney chef's tips and tricks to make the best-tasting burger
Burgers are a staple meal, they can be quick and easy or dressed up with ingredients to make them decadent and delicious.
Chef Dee Rolle, who is the executive chef at The Edison in Disney Springs, has revealed to Insider how to make the perfect burger every time with a few special tips and tricks.
The chef's first recommendation is a contentious one – if you're picking between a brioche bun and a sourdough, go with the sourdough.

Though brioche buns are a trendy food fad right now, Rolle prefers making her own burgers with sourdough when she's off the clock.
"Sometimes you get burgers, and you bite them, and it's just mush," Rolle said. "With a golden sourdough bun, you still get that good texture, no matter what toppings, like Swiss cheese or mushrooms, or sauces you're using."
Rolle's first tip is also a controversial one, she says to never squish your burger patties.
While you may be inclined to press down your burger patties with a spatula when cooking them on a grill or pan, Rolle said this can actually dry them out.

"First and foremost, keep all of those juices. Let those sear in," she told Insider in an interview. "We use a broiler here, but you can get the same great flavour if you have a hot cast-iron skillet."
Rolle also says that whilst getting the perfect balance of lean and fatty beef makes a good tasting patty, your burgers can be elevated with salt or a special mayonnaise.
"Get a good mayo, even a Cajun mayo," Rolle said.

The chef also added that combining a splash of citrus to your mayonnaise can help balance out the flavour of the beef patty.
"That's a Caribbean aspect poking out," Rolle added, who is originally from the Bahamas.
And there you have it, a few simple swaps, tricks and hacks to elevate the taste of the humble hamburger.
