What happens when an Aussie celebrity, TV and radio personality with 157k followers on Instagram asks what she should cook for dinner?
She gets about 854 suggestions with quick recipes included to save her from the last minute dinner drama. Even better, some of them are from celebrity friends and sound like a lot of fun. Nice work @chrissieswan! Do you call that a dinner hack? A dinner cheat? Beating UberEats or just a sheer cry for help (we've all been there at dinnertime)? Whatever it is, let's call it a win for the tips and ideas that came flooding in thick and fast.

Our favourite though was this one from TV cook and all round Chinese home cooking expert Poh Ling Yeow.

"@@ @chrissieswan 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp ground coriander, 1 large onion diced, 2-3 cloves garlic chopped. Bung it all into a frypan with a good Tbs or 2 of butter. Fry until it all smells amazing, take it off the heat and add 2 cups cooked rice, a large tin of drained tuna in oil, few chopped tomatoes and a handful of badly chopped herbs - parsley, cori, basil, mint, whatever! Dinner served. Serves about 3 good eaters ❤️"

But there were plenty of eggs, toast and flat bread ideas too.

And the outcome of the desperate plea for help?

"@chrissieswan This is how it panned out... Me: leftover vegetarian dumplings, Chippie and 2 small kids: tuna mornay (it looks like vomit mummy but I love it!) and oldest boy with an ear infection: vegemite and peanut butter on toast. Thanks for all your tips and I will use them ALLLLLLL! ❤️"
