Organum: Nature Texture Intensity Purity by Peter Gilmore

Peter Gilmore didn't realise his book had made it into the hit show at first, and he wasn't the only one.

Jane Lawson, who's worked in publishing for 30 years and contributed to the recipe collection, described the revelation as "pretty damn thrilling."

Organum: Nature Texture Intensity Purity's inclusion in the hit show doesn't just commend Peter Gilmore on his iconic cookbook, but it also gives more insight into Carmy as a character.

While the book is readily available as an eBook, it's much harder to get your hands on a hard copy.

And it comes with a hefty price tag too.

The book is featured in Carmy's apartment toward the end of season three.

It's a hard copy hidden amongst a stack of other cookbooks.

And while the eBook is available for around $150, Carmy would have been forking out over $800 to get his hands on the physical copy.

When a copy of the book does come available online, you're looking at spending hundreds.

Speaking with The Guardian, The Bear's set designer Eric Frankel described both as "iconic books."

This one is much easier to get your hands on though, with prices online ranging from around $50 to $100.
