'Difficult decision': Arnott's discontinues beloved Aussie biscuit
A beloved Aussie biscuit has been pulled from shelves in a move that has upset fans.
While Arnott's has a large range of gluten free versions of many favourites including Shapes, Mint Slice and Tim Tams, one member of the range is being axed.
The Gluten Free Choc Ripple has been discontinued from Arnott's Gluten Free range, Arnott's has confirmed to 9honey.

The brand said the decision was a "difficult" but necessary move for the brand.
"As we continued to expand our Gluten Free range to offer more variety with exciting new products such as Arnott's Tim Tam Gluten Free, Barbecue Shapes Gluten Free and Jatz Gluten Free, we've found that sales of some of our original gluten free range have slowed," Arnott's Treating Business Director Ranita Cowled told 9honey.
"As a result, we've made the difficult decision to discontinue Arnott's Choc Ripple Gluten Free as a permanent line.
"We remain committed to offering a variety of delicious and innovative Gluten Free options for the whole family to enjoy and look forward to sharing what's next."

TikToker Christopher Tsalikis, who talks all things Gluten Free options on his account @melbourne_coeliac, shared a video noting the "heartbreaking news" and many fans took to the comment section to express their sadness.
In the video, Tsalikis showed a screenshot of a message he received from the brand's Instagram page confirming that the biscuits had "stopped production".
"Heartbreaking news for the gluten-free community. Arnotts has decided to crumb-le our dreams and discontinue their gluten-free Chocolate Ripple biscuits," he wrote in the video's caption.
The biscuits were popular among many gluten free Aussies for snacking and for baking with the well-known choc ripple cake being a hit among many.
"These crunchy, chocolatey legends were the MVP of gluten-free desserts – goodbye, ripple cakes and sweet moments ! It's a bittersweet farewell, but let's give these biscuits the standing crumb-ovation they deserve," Tsalikis continued.
"If you spot any in-store, stock up before they're gone for good!"

Tsalikis also took a moment to call out to Arnott's in a hopeful attempt to save the beloved biscuits.
"Arnotts, if you're reading this, we're begging for a comeback – don't leave us crumbling!
Fellow Choc Ripple fans shared their disappointment in Tsalikis' comment section.
"No way! There is nothing for us coeliacs on the market and this was one of the good ones," one user wrote.
"OK Christmas is ruined for those wanting gluten free chocolate ripple cake," another wrote.
"Please don't remove the chocolate ripple biscuits. They are fantastic for baking and are brilliant for dunking in your coffee. Please don't take them away from us," another passionate Choc Ripple fan wrote.
Arnott's did not comment as to whether there is any chance the biscuits could make a return.
