Aldi's latest food range targets cost-of-living with budget-friendly buys

Aldi has dropped its first Limited Time Only range for 2024 with 200 new food, beverage and beauty products up for grabs.

Targeting families going back to work or school, the supermarket has unveiled a new range of affordable snacks, including the interesting flavour combination of Everything Bagel Flavoured Cashews, PopDots Triple Choc Bite Sized Doughnuts, described as "mini donut balls".

Aldi has also included many ready-made dinner options for busy families and frozen options, with some as cheap as $4.

"Our latest Limited Time Only range is designed with Aussie families in mind, so they can bring convenient, budget-friendly, and most importantly delicious meals to the dinner table," says Aldi Shopping Expert, Kylie Warnke.

"We've been listening to our customers, so with this latest range we've included even more readymade meals, and fake-away dinners families can enjoy at home."

These include the World Kitchen Cottage Pie, Ready Set…Cook! Slow Pulled Pork in BBQ Chipotle Sauce and the World Kitchen Homestyle Beef Bolognese – all of which are priced under $15.

"What kid (or adult) doesn't like Beef Bolognese? Making bolognese from scratch could have me in the kitchen for hours, however this one is ready to eat in just six minutes! It's made with Australian beef in a rich tomato sauce and pairs perfectly with some spaghetti," says Warnke.

Returning favourites are also available, with the ever-popular Ready, Set…Cook! Chicken Tortilla Kit and Urban Eats Japanese Style Chicken or Pork Gyoza in stock.

"These Japanese style gyozas are warmly welcomed by my family any time they make an appearance on the dinner menu. You can pan fry, steam or even air fry these gyozas to perfection," says Warnke.

There are also a number of freezer favourites, including Ocean Royale Gluten Free Fish Bites, Urban Eats Sweet Corn Fritters, and Seasons Pride Hash Brown Stars, with the last two being just $4.
